We offer you two splendid bowls with small handles made between the 30s and 50s in the important ceramic center of Vietri, located along the Amalfi coast.
Handmade and hand-painted, these vintage bowls are the result of the skills of Italian artisans, specifically of an important ceramic factory founded by Vincenzo Pinto who boasts important collaborations with artists such as Giuseppe Capogrossi and designers such as Gio Ponti.
The decorative motifs of these two bowls from the mid-20th century depict 2 exotic animals for the wildlife of Italy: an elephant and an antelope, hand-painted with the typical enamels of Vietri ceramics in copper green, sienna and yellow.
The bowls are in good vintage condition, splendid patina, they have no breaks or imperfections.
