About the Item

A small carnelian crystal bowl, hand-carved from natural Brazilian carnelian stone. Perfectly polished to a high gloss to reveal its rich, translucent banding in shades of burnt orange, amber, and deep red. This bowl is shaped in a refined shallow form, circular in profile, and measures approximately 12 cm in diameter and 4.5 cm high—well-suited as a decorative gemstone dish, trinket bowl, or altar piece. The carnelian’s surface displays soft gradients and organic patterning typical of the material, with one small natural inclusion visible within the inner basin. This feature is not a flaw but part of the stone’s authentic crystalline formation. The bowl is in very good condition, with no repairs or chips noted. Carnelian has been highly valued throughout history—from ancient Mesopotamian cylinder seals to Egyptian amulets. It was traditionally believed to stimulate vitality and protect the wearer. Today, carnelian is prized in metaphysical and crystal healing circles for its energising properties, said to boost confidence, motivation, and creative flow, as well as offering protection.
