SIZE: 5" wide 5" deep 0.75" high FIORUCCI: Fiorucci is an iconic Italian fashion brand that defined the "Pop Art" aesthetic of the 1970s and 80s. Founded by Elio Fiorucci in Milan in 1967, it became a global cultural phenomenon known for its kitschy graphics, neon colors, and its revolutionary impact on fashion. The New York City Store opened in 1976 on East 59th Street and it became a hub for the art and music scene and it was nicknamed "The Daytime Studio 54". Frequent visitors included Andy Warhol, Jackie Onassis, Michael Jackson and Madonna. A young, unknown Madonna performed her first public showcase at a Fiorucci party at Studio 54 to celebrate the brand's 15th anniversary. Elio Fiorucci gave Keith Haring his first major break by letting him spray-paint the walls of the Milan store and gave Andy Warhol office space in the NYC store for Interview magazine.
