Description: Antique 19th century rare and exceptional George IV solid silver salver with cast border, impressively large size and extremely heavy gauge, of shaped-circular form on three impressive cast feet, with applied cast border depicting grapevine and flowers, the centre chased with scrolls and flowers and featuring an exceptional coat of arms for the Goldsmid family, probably for Sir Isaac Lyon Goldsmid, 1st Baronet, financier and one of the leading figures in the Jewish emancipation in the United Kingdom. Hallmarked English Silver (925 standard), London, year 1825 (k), Maker's mark IET (John Edward Terrey). Condition: In excellent condition, no damage. Size:  Height 8 cm. Width 62 cm. Weight 6950 g.
