An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver dish; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection. This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver dish has a square shaped rounded plain form onto a domed quatrefoil panelled pedestal base. This antique silver serving dish is ornamented with a broad band of pierced scroll and leaf decoration with an applied shaped scrolling border to the rim. The fine and impressive broad border of this antique silver dish incorporates an integrated scrolling leaf decorated carrying handle to each corner. The surface of the dished well is plain and unembellished. The panelled base is supported by four chased floral and scroll decorated bracket style feet. Condition This antique silver serving dish is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The fine example of antique silverware has been professionally polished. The pierced and applied decoration is very sharp. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the bowl are very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the superior gauge of silver.
