About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown red, silver flecks Italian art glass seashell shaped sculptural ashtray / trinket bowl. Documented to the A.Ve.M. (Arte Vetraria Muranese) company and attributed to designer Giulio Radi. The shell has a dark red layer over white, with yellow and heavy silver flecks on the inside. It has a decorative indent on the rim and curled scroll tail. Would make a great decorative piece on any desk, vanity or side table. Use it as a trinket bowl, pin / mint dish or personal ashtray. Display it as a functional or sculptural piece in your home. Of interest to Avem and seashell collectors. Mid-century era. Measures: 4 3/8” long x 3 5/8” wide x 2 5/8” on tallest side.
