About the Item
A decorative dish or vide-poche by ceramicist Bernard Rooke. England, mid-twentieth century. Handmade ceramic, in natural tones; the blue-green glass base with crackled finish. Rooke's own rune-like decoration runs around the top and the Rooke stamp is on the side.
The piece is in good vintage condition with minor flaws from the making and firing processes including small firing cracks, minor discolouration and asymmetry. For us the best representation of the colour is in the main image. We suggest small felt pads to protect your table.
Approximate dimensions: Diameter 13cm x Height 3cm.
A second piece is available separately; the two are shown together in the final image.
