About the Item
This stunning Lucite and chrome ashtray, vide poche or desk tidy, has a design reminiscent of the renowned Italian designer Felice Antonio Botta's work. The piece was expertly crafted in Italy circa 1970. The large catchall features an important Lucite square-shaped bowl and a chromed metal rounded insert. The design is beautiful, featuring a luminous tortoise or tortoiseshell texture color with carved sides and chrome accents contrasted with a floating, round, shiny metal cigar ashtray in the middle. The metal insert is removable for cleaning purposes. There is no visible designer's mark.
