Along the rim is a decorative border, typical of Kähler ceramics from this period.

A striking and decorative piece of Danish pottery from one of the country’s most traditional workshops.
Kähler Keramik was founded in Næstved in 1839 and is renowned for its fine craftsmanship, artistic decorations, and collaborations with many of Denmark’s most celebrated ceramic artists. The workshop played a central role in Danish studio pottery throughout the 20th century.
