About the Item
This stunning Lucite and chrome ashtray, vide poche or desk tidy, was designed by the renowned Italian designer Felice Antonio Botta circa 1970. The large catchall features an important Lucite square-shaped bowl with carving and a chromed metal rounded insert. The design is beautiful, featuring a luminous amber-orange color with straight lines and a shiny metal contrast, resembling an ice cube with a floating round cigar ashtray in the middle. The metal insert is removable for cleaning purposes. There is no visible designer's mark.
