Mid-Century Murano Glass ashtray or bowl by Flavio Poli - Faceted Murano Glass This is a beautiful Murano glass ashtray or decorative bowl. It is made according to the technique of sommerso which allows to superimpose several layers of glass and obtain effects of colors and contrast. Here, the deep purple is illuminated by the cut of the glass in the shape of a diamond. It is a very beautiful piece all in transparency and vivacity. The light is redirected by the different facets of the object which gives it a lot of elegance. In good condition. Please look at the pictures, they complete the description of the object. This type of work is attributed to Flavio Poli.
