A very good looking well made and decorative piece, the main body is glass and the trim is all Sterling Silver which is hallmarked as follows
DATE LETTER:- V for the year 1920
TOWN MARK:- Panthers head for London
STERLING SILVER:- Ships Anchor for Birmingham made
MAKERS MARK:- WB&S for the firm of W Batty
Sons Ltd
The condition is excellent so far as I can see, the trim has patina marks as its thin sterling silver but nothing you wouldn't expect from a piece this age
