About the Item
Designer Shinobu Ito is the artist who envisioned these designer plates. In Japanese, "kai" means "shell," a word that well represents its identity. It is worked with the "millefiori murrine glass" technique, which fuses together segments of glass rod, each depicting a small design. The murrina with the letter M is a symbol of the originality and uniqueness of the products that come out of our workshop. Each plate is marked and guaranteed by the "Vetro Artistico® Murano" stamp.
