About the Item

Elegant Organic Modern pair of small footed metal dishs, probably sold as individual ashtrays, made by E. Cabello in Mexico during the 1960s. Cabello created the dishes with a stylized fish form sitting on three brass circular feet and using the Metales Casados (married metals) technique. Produced with a silver finish, brass and copper metals with a geometric pattern created by the intersecting metals. Reminiscent of the creations of Los Castillos that used the Metales Casados technique. Measurements: 4 1/2 inches wide x 3 inches deep x 1 inch high tallest point - 5/8 inch high bowl Condition: Very Good. These have been high gloss polished so reflections are inevitable.
