About the Item
Lightweight and compact, this pair of small bowls is an example of the classic Japanese lacquer dishware used daily for food and drink. Each bowl has a simple silhouette, shaped with a smooth, curved interior, an s-curve exterior, and a straight rim and foot. A glossy red lacquer finish coats the interior of each bowl, contrasted by an exterior layer of dark black lacquer.
