A beautiful Danish porcelain oyster seashell shaped jewelry dish with bird design, by Copenhagen Porcelain maker, Bing and Grøndahl, circa early to mid-20th century, Denmark. This porcelain oyster seashell jewelry dish showcases the company's signature design, the Seagull, which was created in 1892 by designer Fanny Garde (1855-1925.) This modest, classic design features a flying seagull against a pale and light blue background, finished with a hand applied gold detail around edge. Marker' mark on underside as shown in last image.
