About the Item

Set of three stoneware clay pottery pieces in graduating sizes by artist Ted Teeter. All Signed on the underside Ted Teeter with one bing dated 1975 and another being dated 1978. In ex Ellen’s condition with no chips or breaks. Teeter, a teacher and potter, made his first piece of pottery in 1973 under the instruction of Jack Wilson at the Florida Gulf Coast Art Center. It was from this beginning that he developed a career in production pottery. He founded the Clayworkers Guild of Florida, served as a member and chairman of the Pinellas County Arts Council, introduced the Friends of the Arts award program and is returning to work in clay after an extended sabbatical.
