The egg-shaped ewer lays on a circular pedestal, with a woman-shaped handle.
The basin dominated by the Temperance, is lined with moldings godrons, chiseled cartridges allegories of the 4 elements and arts (Rhetoric, Music, Dialectics, Geometry, ...), deities, grotesque masks and foliage.
