About the Item
Box shaped like a “flowers” playing card suit in 925/1000 sterling silver with black fired enamel in Art Deco style, early 1900s. With lost hinge, i.e. semi-invisible. Dimensions cm. 9.5×9.5×1.8. Weight gr. 176. Designed by Renato Salimbeni in 1951 inspired by previous products also by the Salimbeni company, and manufactured in Florence with manual workmanship by skilled artisan artists with a high thickness plate and large reinforcements suitable for supporting numerous high-fire enamel firings at around 800° C
