About the Item
Box shaped like a “spade” playing card suit in 925/1000 silver with black fired enamel in Art Deco style, early 1900s. With internal hinge. Dimensions cm. 9.5 x 10.7 x 1.8. Weight gr. 233. Designed by Renato Salimbeni in 1951 inspired by previous products also by the Salimbeni company, and manufactured in Florence with manual workmanship by skilled artisan artists with a high thickness plate and large reinforcements suitable for withstanding numerous high-fire enamelling firings at around 800° C
