About the Item
Antique wooden retailers cigar box.
This unique piece likely dates back to the late Victorian period. It features all-mahogany construction and four interior storage compartments. Across the front is a reverse-painted placard that reads "CIGARS" on gold foil lettering. Along the back is a handle used by the merchant in a tactic to "offer" the box of cigars forward enticingly.
