We are pleased to offer for sale an elegant mid-century modern smoking accessory made in Italy, as confirmed by the original adhesive label still present. Dating to approximately the mid-20th century, this piece is a tobacco jar crafted from solid turned walnut wood, which also serves as a pedestal for a sculptural horse-head pipe holder.
The horse head is finely made of black-painted resin and features a discreet pipe holder concealed within its mane. The piece retains its original shop label from a Rome-based retailer, adding to its authenticity and collectible appeal.
In good vintage condition, this 1970s tobacco holder has undergone a professional conservation restoration, including thorough surface cleaning and treatment with a specialized product to preserve and enhance the material.
