About the Item

An 18th century French Provencal fariniere beautifully carved and constructed. A sliding front panel features two carved fish. The box is dovetailed with a false bottom drawer. Lovely original waxed patina. Unusual large size, circa 1780-1800. Small restoration on the back feet. Good condition in keeping with its age. Measures: 19” H x 10.5” W x 5.5” D.
