Charming folk art 19th-century country English pine blanket chest or box featuring a Georgian manor house facade on the outside. The storage box has a hinged top and handles on each side crafted from patinated iron. The house is decorated with neoclassical architecture and Greco-Roman motifs. The painted finish has a desirable weathered patina as seen in photos with an aged country English provincial farmhouse aesthetic. The box could serve as a blanket chest, side, or drinks table or decorative display.
