About the Item
Completely handmade sterling silver candy box.
The box is round and pot-bellied.
Embossments and chisels of flowers were made all over the body.
The box is divided into three sectors, divided by different embossed flowers.
Daisies, Roses and Pansies.
All the embossed flowers are surrounded by their relative leaves.
Between one embossing and the next a knurling technique was carried out, i.e. tapped by a small Hammer and with a small burin.
This knurled effect has been specially created to highlight the perfect floral embossments, as can be seen in the photographic detail.
In the upper part of the body of the box, three parts have been left shiny with striped chisels, to give the whole structure lightness and luminosity.
The lid follows exactly the design of the body of the box and has a rose-shaped knob made with the casting technique.
