Good quality desktop box covered with marquetry on all surfaces. Sloped front with decorative star panel. Top opens to reveal a partially fitted interior, containing a candle box or for today's use, stationary storage.
Expected surface marks and fading, minor loss to woodwork on back and loss to polish.
