19th Century Swedish Folk Art Bentwood Box from Hälsingland, Northern Sweden. Oval box with lid. Originalpainted with nice patina after several hundred years of use. Beautifully painted flowers on the lid. Small wood damage on the lidb occur. Nothing that disturbs the overall impression. Valuables were stored in these Bentvwood Boxes. A nice addition to any room to store your favorite items in. Good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, scratchers, wear as is to be expected with functional antiques Made in painted pine.
