About the Item
Anglo Indian hardwood campaign or dowry chest. This has brass straps, handles and large hinges on the interior. The lock has the original key. The chest is in good condition. It shows lots of wear from age. One hinge is missing an attachment stud. Some of the brass corners have come loose. The lock is partly detached from the chest. The removable tray holds it in place. It is possibly missing one wood cover on the inside for a secret compartment. There is a crack in the lid.
