German Rococo silver trinket box with cherub frolics, ca 1900. Oval; lobed and bellied. On sides, scrolled frames with garlands on stippled ground. Cover hinged and tabbed; on top, in high relief, are two boys, two girls, and a goat. An innocent entanglement of limbs and drapery. Gilt-washed interior. Marks include fineness stamp 800. Weight: 10 troy ounces.
