Appealing, polished box with an unusual and distinctive rope braid motif Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout Polished brass and bronze presents shimmering golden tonality Offering a working lock with key, opening on a half turn and automatically locking upon closing Dressed with a cobalt blue leather interior in an original, clean order This is a fine antique strong box, with an attractive polished appearance and ideal for concealing letters or keepsakes.
