This exquisite Art Deco modernist lidded box boasts a minimalist yet refined and sophisticated shape, featuring varnish Macassar wood adorned with tropical wooden edging trims. The rare piece was crafted in France circa 1930. The interior of the box is lined with tropical wood. There is no visible designer's mark.
