About the Item
Carved round cinnabar box on brass with a blue enameled interior and underfoot. The carved top centers on peonies growing from a rocky outcropping with in a carved border which is repeated on the rim of the lower half of the box. The circular blue enameled underfoot is framed by a fluted molding.
