Raro cofanetto a segreti di epoca Luigi XIV, inizio del XVIII secolo. Riccamente intarsiato a marqueterie con figure vegetali e animali su tutte le facce. Bellissimo il pappagallo sulla faccia posteriore. All'interno uno specchio incassato nel coperchio e un meccanismo segreto che, facendo slittare verso l'alto un pannello, scopre dei cassetti nascosti. Bellissime cerniere originali in bronzo dorato e sbalzato. Serratura originale con chiave. All'interno c'è ancora la carta originale. Il cuscino sul coperchio è stato fatto rivestire con una stoffa rossa dal vecchio proprietario.
