There was no distinct "Ovington Brothers France" manufacturing company; rather, the "France" mark on their goods indicates the item's origin. The company was founded by Theodore and Edward Ovington in Brooklyn, New York, in 1843. Over the years, Ovington Brothers became known for sourcing high-quality porcelain and glass from renowned manufacturers across Europe (including England, Germany, and Austria) and the United States, and selling them under their own prestigious retail name"
