About the Item

Early 19th century walnut box from England. This is a lovely box with some of the most gorgeous craftsmanship we have had the pleasure to offer. The top has softly beveled edges, following down to expertly dovetailed sides. The beauty of the dovetails makes the simple box must more interesting. The base of the box mimics the top in size for a balanced profile. The box is raised on hand turned feet. This is a lovely box and would be a wonderful addition to any collection!
