About the Item

Early 19th century German spice chest. This is a really unique spice chest which has been meticulously constructed with hand made dovetails on the case. The top of the case has a handsome crown, following down to simple sides and four drawers in the front. There are four drawers, all hand painted with the names of spices on the drawer fronts. The chest has a molded base, supported on bracket feet. Lovely detail.
