This exquisite late Victorian sycamore writing or stationery box exemplifies exceptional craftsmanship. Adorned with ebony banding and intricate brass corner mounts, the box is finished with a fitted Moroccan leather interior. The top is equipped with a matching brass carry handle, while the front is embellished with a polished keyhole escutcheon. Inside, the interior is meticulously arranged into a suite of compartments, thoughtfully designed to accommodate writing paper, pens, ink, and related accessories.
