About the Item

An Edwardian card's case with round clock. This is a very unusual antique rectangular case to store presentation cards. This box is dated back to the 1900's and was masterfully crafted during the Edwardian period with carvings and parts made up in .800/.999 silver. The box is very useful since feature a round clock in the center and have a compartment for the presentation cards. It is fitted with two sets of five-barrels hinges and a snap push lock. All parts are in pristine and sharp condition, the clock's movement should need a good servicing. The piece is very impressive and have a great eye appeal. Weight: 105.4 Grams, (67.75 Dwt). Measurements: 81 mm by 70 mm by 18 mm (3.20 x 2.75 x 0.71 Inches). Hallmarks: Unmarked but the silvers parts has been electronically tested for .800/.999 sterling silver. Collateral: This card's case is accompanied by a presentation jewelry pouch. Condition: The overall condition of this card's case is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver. All parts are secured in their settings. This case has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
