About the Item
An antique English sterling silver and cut-glass vanity, dresser, or bath/powder room jar box, Victorian period, circa late-19th century, England. The sterling silver top/lid has a repose floral design around with a center area that can be monogramed is so desired (by buyer), and a gold wash on under side. Jar is cut glass in a round/cylindrical form, finished with a cut starburst bottom. A great piece for a vanity or dressing table, powder room, bathroom, etc., to hold various items (shown holding cotton Q-tips, a cocktail ring.) English sterling silver markings on side of top lid as shown in very last image.
