About the Item
A French traveling writing box made of rosewood during the 1800’s. The top of the box is inlaid with a mother-of-pearl monogrammed “Charlotte” label. The box opens up to reveal its original sloped purple velvet writing surface. Within the box there are several hidden compartments for storing correspondence materials.
