About the Item

The vinaigrette is broad rectangular in form and is engraved on the cover with trellis work designs and stylized foliate motifs around a rectangular cartouche engraved with contemporary script initials. The base is engraved with a foliate spray and prick dot bands. The interior is finely gilded and the grille is pierced and engraved with pluming scrolls.  Measures: Length 1.45 inches, 3.63cm. Width 0.9 inches, 2.25cm.
