About the Item
This is a beautifully made tessellated stone box mostly likely by Maitland Smith and made in the Philippines. The rectangular footprint tapers in on the sides to give it a unique, sophisticated form. The box has a lovely wood interior and the bottom is covered with brown felt.
The box is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or losses to the stone tiles. Measuring 7 1/8" x 5 7/8" x 2 5/8", this is on the smaller side of Maitland Smith's boxes and could be used for a variety of applications. A striking, versatile box for any room in the home.
