This stunning original decorative box was expertly crafted in France, circa 1960. The rectangular form, featuring Macassar wood main body, is complemented by a brushed gilded anodized aluminum lid, defining its modernist design. The inside is lined with tropical wood and has compartment storage. This box has a lot of presence and an undeniably powerful decorative flair. There is no visible designer's mark.
