About the Item

A sophisticated pair of “Original” two-wheel trolley suitcases by Globe-Trotter (English, founded 1897), celebrated for its timeless craftsmanship and association with luxury travel. Each suitcase is constructed from Globe-Trotter’s signature vulcanised fibreboard — a remarkably lightweight yet durable material made from compressed paper — and elegantly finished with brown leather trim, corners, and handles. The cases feature gold-tone hardware, internal Globe-Trotter plaques, and are stamped to the exterior. An iconic example of British heritage design, these pieces exemplify Globe-Trotter’s century-long reputation for refined, handcrafted luggage favored by discerning travelers and collectors alike.
