About the Item
A lovely pair of antique Victorian 19th Century Horn card cases. Beautifully grained these antique pieces were descended from the same family estate. The first has a flip top that releases with the push of a button. This p[ieces has some missing horn on top nad the horn veneer is lifting. The second case is lined with fabric and is missing the hinge binding cover. There are still paper cards in this case belonging to a family member who lived in the 19th century.
Losses to the horn on both cases. The binding of the one case is missing. There is splitting and lifting to the horn veneer along with some scratches to the surfaces.
