About the Item
Square rounded pill box with rounded sides in 925/1000 sterling silver gold plated with white fire enamel, above and below, with miniature dog's head hand painted by the painter Romano Buccioni. Dimensions cm. 5.2 x 5.2 x 2.6. Weight gr. 79. Designed by Franco Salimbeni in 1966 inspired by previous artefacts made in the English Art Nouveau style of the early 1900s and manufactured at the Salimbeni company headquarters in Florence, with completely manual execution by artisan artists with a high thickness sheet suitable for withstanding numerous enamelling firings at around 800° C
It is a new object that has never been used but is considered vintage because it was built more than 20 years ago.
