About the Item
Round pill box in 925/1000 sterling silver gold plated with translucent fired enamels on guilloché, and hand-painted floral miniature. With raised beaded decoration. Viennese Art Nouveau style, second half of the 19th century. Dimensions: diameter 3.8 cm, height 1.3 cm. Weight 31 g. Designed by Renato Salimbeni in 1950, inspired by models previously made by the Salimbeni company, and manufactured in Florence at the Salimbeni company headquarters, entirely by hand by artisan artists with a thick sheet suitable for withstanding numerous enamel firings at approximately 800° C
It is a new object that has never been used but is considered vintage because it was built more than 20 years ago.
