A highly decorative Egyptian Revival jewellery box or trinket box, the hinged part ebonized lid featuring a finely detailed brass bust of an Egyptian Pharaoh, bordered within a burled canted edge decorated with neoclassical brass appliques. The interior showing a stunning pale yellow silk lining, the base retaining its original and functioning lock mechanism key.
