About the Item

Traditional 19th century Swedish shaped box on stand. Rustic made Scandinavian metal bound strong box on later stand. Useful addition of a base makes this an ideal sofa side storage solution.  Red/brown paint scheme with a muted orange floral design.  Original metal strap work, hinges and lid handle.  No lock. Expected minor surface marks to woodwork, in line with age and use.  Later touched in paint at the time when the base was added.
