Decoration : Dome topped with central woolwork floral mosaic and foliate border with dentil stringing. Side panels with floral mosaic banding,
Size : 24.6cm x 9.5cm, 8.4cm height
Condition : Good restored condition – there is a piece of veneer missing to the underside of the box as shown in the images.
Restoration : There are several areas of re stuck veneer – notably the bottom right of the front panel and on both edges of the cover.
Weight : 360 grams
Boxes of this style have a number of posssible origins including Barton and Hollamby, even possibly late Nye.
